pottery was considered to be a milestone in human
history. Traditionally, antique pottery came into
existences only because the sturdy and watertight
containers were desperately needed for the people
to boil and steam food which further allowed them
to take advantage of new sources of food such as
shellfish, acorns, and leafy vegetables.
Antique
pottery is referred to a type of ceramic material
and fired ceramic wares that contain clay when formed,
except technical, structural, and refractory products.
The term “ antique pottery “ is used for a procedure involving ceramic, where clay is mixed with other minerals and is formed into objects, including vessels generally considered for functional purposes.
